On nice days I like to get some fresh air and walk around my neighborhood. Have you noticed rainbows popping up in windows as you walk? I have! All around the world families have been making rainbows to display outside their homes. Rainbows symbolize happiness and hope and, while we're somewhat confined to our homes, displaying them is a way to reach out and show hope and kindness to friends and neighbors without physically interacting with them. It's also become a fun game for kids (and adults, like me!) to go around and count the rainbows they can find.
Have you made a rainbow yet? You can use any materials you have. I used watercolor paint. If you have a printer, you can download a coloring page I made (click here). Can you spot the rainbow on my house? And don't forget: The next time you go for a walk, hunt those rainbows!
